As a Software Engineer, I was involved in the MyDirtyHobby (MDH) project, an innovative initiative by MindGeek aimed at creating a decentralized platform for adult content. This innovative project, although in its early development stages, holds the potential to revolutionize the production and consumption of adult content. My primary role focused on upgrading ElasticSearch from version 2 to 7, aligning the existing functionality with the new ElasticSearch version.
Key Deliverables Achieved:
- Successfully upgraded ElasticSearch from version 2 to 7, ensuring compatibility with the new version.
- Implemented a 'c2c' sales service, enabling content creators to directly sell their content to consumers without intermediaries. This initiative empowered creators with more control over their work and increased their earnings potential.
- Pioneered a direct access system for fans to connect with and support their favorite content creators.
